The performance of ABS is determined by the ratio of the three monomers, and the synergistic effect of the three makes it have the following characteristics: 
Acrylonitrile (A): Provides good chemical stability, heat resistance, and surface hardness, and enhances the rigidity and impact strength of the products.
Butadiene (B): gives the material elasticity and impact resistance (especially at low temperatures), improves toughness and makes the products less brittle.
Styrene (S): improve the processing fluidity and surface gloss, easy for injection molding, and reduce the cost.

Mechanical properties: excellent impact resistance (especially at low temperatures), balanced strength and toughness, suitable for making structural parts.
Processability: good fluidity, can be processed by injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and other processes, high dimensional stability of products.
Chemical resistance: It is resistant to water, inorganic salt, dilute acid and alkali, but easily eroded by ketone and ester solvents.
